Kingswood Academy offers a variety of educational Extracurricular Programs for your child! These Enrichment Programs have been carefully chosen to provide an enriching experience, exposing them to amazing opportunities and benefits that extend into the higher grade levels and beyond.
KinderTime Karate will give your chid and introduction to Karate. Classes are designed to teach safety by using fun games and activities that also develops focus, fitness, self-discipline, and socialization skills. Children are taught Karate basics while learning safety, stranger danger and appropriate situations to call 911.
Our Starz Program Dance class is co-ed for ages 3-5. Children are taught progressive dance skills and introduced to gymnastics and creative movement which is all designed to provide students with coordination, balance, flexibility and rhythm. Watch as your childs accomplishments build confidence and self-esteem throughout the year and enjoy the excitement at our end of the year recital.
Story Time Soccer was established locally in Lake Worth to bring age-appropriate skill soccer leagues to Palm Beach County preschools and elementary schools. They have designed a soccer syllabus to help children get excited about fitness through stories and games that are fun and educational. Story Time Soccer is available for children 2 through 12.
ABC Mouse is a progressive learning course curriculum for your child to learn with over 850 games, activities and lessons divided into ten levels. can be accessed from any computer of tablet anywhere in the world. Rewards after reaching each level encourages your child to continue. Your child’s introduction to computers and learning will set the stage for academic success.
Kingswood Academy’s Kidsville Mini-Village, News Broadcast Studio and Computer Lab are all included in your tuition offering your child the opportunity to expand thier interests by introducing them a variety of real life situations. The benifits of role play in early years has been proven to build confidence, creativity and communication and problem solving skills. Your child can act out real life situations that will prepare them to navigate into adulthood.
Our Kidsville Mini-Village is a city with a diner, market, movie theater and firestation. And our Broadcast Studio simulates what it would be like to be a news broadcaster and all the professions that go along with the media industry. Our Computer Lab introduces your child to computers and Ipads for succesful transtions into higher grade levels.
